Museum and garden of sculptures

Near St Malo and Dinard, a few steps away from the river Rance, the Manoli museum is located in the former workshop and living place of the artist.
In the heart of a little haven where there is shade and light, the arms and wings of the sculptures mingle with magnolia flowers and pear tree branches.
In 2001, the museum opened its doors and established itself as one of the best places for art and discovery in Brittany.
Several hundreds of works are divided into eight rooms, a vast garden, and bear witness of the great talent of the artist.

This place keeps the memory of the artist alive. Manoli did many public commissions such as “La Cheminée” for the University of Pierre and Marie Curie, “La Grande Voile” for the Montparnasse station, liturgical furniture of the Cathedral of Quimper…
He was interested in salvaged materials, granite, earthenware, metal, and shook the things up by creating characters, animals and abstract works. You will discover his special universe through a visit where nature will be the extension of the art work.
