Fougères, at the borders of Brittany, Normandy and Maine, is full of surprises.

 


This medieval town, which boasts the biggest remaining castle in Europe, is well worth exploring. Beyond the town walls, the forest and lush surrounding provide ample opportunities for walking and relaxation. 

We are sure you will find the town charming.

 

The castle is opened all year, except during January, on the 1st of May and Christmas Day.

 

May/June /September: from 10am to 1pm and from 2 pm to 7pm, everyday except on Monday.

 

July and August: from 10am to 7pm everyday.

 

October to April: 10am until 12.30 and from 2pm until 5.30pm, everyday except on monday.
